Here you will find specialized collections and services that will help you navigate the immense and dynamic world of knowledge.
Our specialized collections include small business resources, government documents, health information, as well as many language, literacy and ESL resources. The Main Library is host to the Grace Schmidt Room of Local History, where the library maintains a wealth of materials documenting the history of the city of Kitchener and the surrounding region.
Information Services staff provide a high level of personalized assistance to connect customers with the information they need. They use their depth of expertise and knowledge of resources both within the library and beyond, and are available via phone, email, instant message as well as in person in the library.
Partnerships with community groups provide depth and local relevance to our collections as do years of informed print acquisitions.
