Margarita Kuznetsova

Exhibit Runs: May 14 - July 8

Come out to view our latest exhibit in the Central Library Art Gallery by Margarita Kuznetsova.

The artist grew up in a very green little town. Nature, she says, is her biggest source of inspiration. Wherever she is living, she tries to go and explore woodlands, lakes, botanical gardens, parks and any natural places far and nearby.
“I love the calm feeling that being in nature gives me and I hope it reflects in my work,” she says. “I prefer to work in graphic techniques, inspired by the beauty of architecture.”

Margarita graduated from the Moscow University of the Academy of Education, Faculty of Art. She worked as a teacher at the Children’s School of Art in the Architecture and Art department. At present, she lives in Waterloo, Ontario and works as a freelance illustrator and fine artist.

Margarita’s work has been exhibited in Aylmer, Quebec; The Museum in Kitchener, Elora Centre of Arts and at the Waterloo Park Art Walk. Her work is collected locally, across Canada, and internationally.
