Reserve a Computer

In accordance with the province-wide stay-at-home order, library computers and Chromebooks are not available at this time.

Wireless printing is available at all locations. You can send your print jobs to any of our library locations, and pick up your printouts using curbside pickup. Learn more ➔

You can reserve a Windows desktop PC at any Kitchener Public Library location.

  • You must make a reservation before coming to the library.
  • You can reserve a desktop computer for one hour each day.
  • Computers can be reserved up to two days in advance.
  • You will be asked to wear a face covering while using a computer.

Use a Chromebook

  • Chromebooks are available for use in the Reading Lounge at Central Library.
  • Chromebooks can be used for one hour per day.

Printing, Faxing, and Photocopying

Printing, Photocopying and Faxing will be unavailable on Saturday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 6 while we reconfigure our spaces to accommodate the Provincial Shutdown. These services will resume on Wednesday, April 7.

You may print or photocopy up to 5 pages per day, free. After 5 pages, the following fees apply:

Printing Documents: You can print documents in black-and-white or colour.

  • Black-and-white copies: $0.15 per page
  • Colour copies: $0.50 per page

Photocopying: You may photocopy documents in black-and-white or colour.

  • Black-and-white copies: $0.15 per page
  • Colour copies: $0.50 per page

Faxing (Central Library only): Faxes can be sent upon request. Please note that you cannot receive faxes at the library.

  • Faxes cost $0.50 per page

Scanning: You may scan documents to email, free of charge.
