Wireless Internet & Printing
All Kitchener Public Library locations offer convenient wireless printing. You can easily connect to our printers from your device, and retrieve your print jobs using our contactless curbside pickup service.
General Information
- Printing fees have been temporarily waived, with a limit of 5 pages per customer per day.
- After submitting your print request, please call or go to the library location you selected within two hours. Otherwise, your print job will be deleted.
- As of Thursday, February 18, you may come into the library and retrieve your own print jobs at all locations except Pioneer Park Community Library.
- Pioneer Park Community Library will be open for in person printing starting Monday, February 22.
- Curb & Carry printing will continue to be available.

Wireless Internet
Kitchener Public Library provides free wireless Internet access at all locations. The support of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport for the implementation of wireless Internet service is gratefully acknowledged.
How to connect:
- Access the network/wireless connection settings for your laptop, phone or tablet. Select network “KPL Main" or the community library location.
- Open your browser. The library's Internet Access Policy will appear.
- Once you have read and accepted the Internet Access Policy, you will be connected to the Internet.

A wireless hotspot is not a secured network environment. Keep this in mind if you are accessing confidential personal or business information. It is the responsibility of the library customer to take appropriate measures to secure his/her data and equipment, and to configure his or her laptop to access the wireless service.
